Our Approach

Vennur is built to help accounting firms provide clients with clear, timely financial updates based on information already available within their business systems. Our platform can be leveraged to unlock enterprise value for both accountants and their clients while strengthening existing trusted advisor relationships.

We bring clarity to business decisions helping firms deliver meaningful financial insights more consistently, more efficiently, and at a scale that would otherwise be difficult to achieve through manual processes alone.

From the earliest stages of development, the platform has been guided by four principles:

- Professional oversight
- Transparency
- Privacy and confidentiality
- Practical usefulness

These principles inform how we design the product, how we work with accounting firms, and how we approach the use of artificial intelligence.

Professional Oversight

Vennur is a decision-support and communication platform.

The platform assists accounting firms by transforming financial information into clear, plain-English updates intended to help business owners better understand their financial position and performance.

Professional judgement remains with the accounting firm.

Vennur does not replace the expertise, experience, or responsibilities of accountants. Rather, it is designed to help firms deliver insights more efficiently while maintaining appropriate oversight and control.

Accounting firms remain responsible for the advice they provide, the recommendations they make, and the professional services they deliver to their clients.

Human Review

We recognise that different firms have different approaches to risk management and client communication.

For this reason, Vennur is designed to support a range of review workflows.

Firms may choose to review updates before they are released, allow routine updates to be distributed automatically, or require additional review where unusual circumstances or potential issues are identified.

Our objective is not to remove accountants from the process. It is to reduce administrative effort while ensuring firms retain confidence in the information being delivered to clients.

Data Quality and Context

The quality of any financial update depends on the quality, completeness, and timeliness of the information available to the platform.

Business data can occasionally be incomplete, delayed, incorrectly categorised, or affected by circumstances that are not visible within financial records alone.

Where practical, Vennur seeks to identify unusual patterns, inconsistencies, or potential data quality issues and provide appropriate context.

The platform is intended to support informed decision-making and meaningful client conversations. It should not be viewed as a substitute for professional consideration of significant business matters or unique circumstances.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Accounting firms are trusted custodians of highly sensitive business information.

We recognise the importance of maintaining that trust.Vennur is built around the principle that firms and their clients retain control of their information.

Information accessed through the platform is used solely for the purpose of providing the services requested by the firm. Access is restricted to authorised users and the systems required to operate the platform.

We are committed to handling information responsibly and in a manner consistent with applicable privacy obligations and professional expectations.

Security

Trust depends on security.

Vennur is being developed with a focus on secure data handling, access controls, auditability, and responsible operational practices.

Security is not treated as a one-time exercise. It is an ongoing commitment that evolves alongside the product, customer requirements, and industry expectations.

As the platform matures, we expect governance, security controls, and operational processes to continue developing in line with the needs of accounting firms and their clients.

Continuous Improvement

Vennur is an evolving product.

During pilot and early deployment phases, we work closely with participating firms to improve accuracy, refine outputs, and ensure updates remain useful, relevant, and practical in real-world environments.

Feedback from accountants plays an important role in improving the platform and helping us better understand how firms deliver value to their clients.

Our goal is not simply to generate information. It is to help firms communicate financial insights in a way that clients find clear, timely, and actionable.

What Vennur Is Not

Vennur is not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, tax, or financial advice.

The platform is designed to assist with financial communication and insight generation. Significant decisions should always be considered in the context of professional judgement and the specific circumstances of the business.

Vennur exists to support accountants in delivering better client experiences, not to replace the expertise and trust that sit at the centre of the accountant–client relationship.
